Showcasing Circular Quay Tower and Barangaroo South – Two Major Sydney Urban Renewal Projects

11 July 2017

Confirmed Diamond Sponsor:

CTBUH is pleased to announce that Lendlease is confirmed as a Diamond Sponsor of the 2017 Conference. Since Australia Square was opened in Sydney 50 years ago, Lendlease has significantly contributed to city skylines across the globe with spectacular buildings like Deutsche Bank Place in Sydney, Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur and 432 Park Avenue in New York. As well as tall buildings, Lendlease is developing innovative timber projects, such as International House Sydney, Australia’s first engineered timber office building, and 25 King Street in Brisbane, which will become the largest of its kind in the world.

Lendlease’s sponsorship will showcase Circular Quay Tower and Barangaroo South, two developments changing the face of Sydney. Circular Quay Tower, at 263 meters, will be Sydney’s tallest office tower in a precinct that will offer two new public plazas, a laneway network with cafés, bars and retail, and a community building.

Barangaroo South, the city’s largest urban renewal project since the 2000 Olympics, is Sydney’s thriving commercial and retail hub. The vibrant precinct is home to architecture that is not only world class in its design, but unrivalled in sustainability credentials. International Towers will be the first WELL Core & Shell Certified buildings globally; the precinct has been awarded a 6 Star Green Star Communities rating and is targeting carbon neutrality by 2020.
