The submission for abstracts is now closed. We have received a very high number of abstracts for consideration at the conference. For reasons on why abstracts are accepted or rejected, please see here.

The 2017 conference convened speaking and 20|20 panel discussions, program rooms, exhibitors, and regular panel discussions, focused on the overall conference theme: “Connecting the City; People, Density & Infrastructure.” After a plenary session each morning, up to ten parallel speaking tracks were held.

All abstracts were subject to review before acceptance into the conference program.

This year, competition for oral presentations at the conference was extremely high. Reasons some abstracts have been rejected in past years can be seen here.

For each accepted presentation, one presenter was eligible to register for the conference at the subsidized presenter registration rate.

NOTE: All presenters at the 2017 Conference were CTBUH members at either the organizational or individual level. To see if your company is already an organizational member of the CTBUH, see the full list here.

Delegate Materials

As the recognized international authority on tall buildings, CTBUH conferences differ significantly from the many commercial conferences that are now being held around the world, in terms of both quality of knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities (see industry leader endorsement statement here). Dissemination of best-practice information is of primary importance at every CTBUH conference. Thus, every presentation given at the 2017 Conference was substantiated by an abstract and captured in the form of video for dissemination after the event. All delegates received a USB drive at the event, containing all abstracts and presentations given at the event.
